My Silent Rage Ends Here

I have not mentioned anything about the Lebanon-Israel bombing
exchanges in here tho I have really some strong sentiments abt it. Been
really very fed-up with the acts from BOTH sides and I am Extremely NOT
pleased with how the Israelis act upon the kidnapping of their 2
soldiers.

Why? Why do you...with all your power and intellegent agents, do you
have to react with missiles and rockets? To tell the world that u r an
Untouchable, that no one can remove YOUR state in Jerusalem? To tell
Ahmenejidad that the State of Israel will not cease to Exist??

I was happy when ur soldiers retreated from the Gaza Strip for a chance
at Peace but i was also skeptical, lookin back at history...because I
knew, u were not sincere! Treaties after treaties, u lay low for
awhile, then some militants tease u with their kidnappin/stone
throwing/suicide bombers acts...u retaliate with Military attack on
them, oh not really on them actually...on the innocent civilians! And
now a full scale air and land attack on Lebanon because the militants
bug the hell out of u. They are out to harm not only the Zionists, but
the world, u say. Come on, if u r that serious abt givin peace a
chance, u would have resorted to more diplomatic ways, u will try ur
very best to PROVE it. Those militants are sick of ur LIES & ur
OPRESSIONS on them and their loved ones! and so am i especially now
that u r Invadin another land and occupyin them...Oh to keep those
militants at bay...but WHAT RIGHT DO U HAVE TO INVADE LEBANON's LAND to
rid those buggers?? All u do is DEMAND, if not, ATTACK. What a Big
Bully! What crappy way to settle things!

And hubba hubba, why am i not surprise that there is no strict
warnings/intervention by the US till only today, that Ms Rice is sent
for some talks? Bush backed up Israel's actions earlier while Annan was
lookin lost and useless seekin for a cease-fire and that many lives are
taken!

Well hello, superpowers of the world! there are A LOT of people out
here who are Disappointed & Disgusted with ur guts and response to
the situation and all ur empty promises. Power is a tool not to opress
others but for binding ties! Or maybe that's juz my wishful
thinking...along with millions of others.

Probably, it is really right to start boycotting stuff from u cocky
fellas. We should move the economy to teach u a lesson that u r not
that mighty after all. i shall drink more Teh Peng than Starbucks Mocha
Frapuccino or canned Nescafe. i shall snack on Khong Guan's Inspiration
instead of Mark & Spencer's Chocolate Digestives. And when my Nokia
phone dies on me in future, i shall join my dad with his Samsung
fascination. a lil effort from everyone comes a long way. let's start a
Revolution. it all starts with one.

Some people may say this war thingy is endless, i should not waste my
time thinking and getting frustrated abt it and that we should just be
thankful that we are safe, even from tsunamis. But how happy can u be
at home watchin ur tv, sippin ur tea while u see others tryin to fight
their freedom and fleein for their safety? And how many times u say "I
wish i could change the world" while u juz lie in bed and dream about
it? And how is it, it is their war when the danger lurks and Nuclear
Weapons are slowly buildin up in different parts of the world? We are
in the era of Globalisation, even the tectonic Plates are shiftin...so
should we really sit around and do nothing?

  5. oh yeah.. Boycott Fox too.. Wow.. I didn't realise so many brands were from them. No wonder they are the richest people in this world, no doubt.

  6. It is not as easy unless we experienced it ourselves.

  7. Learnt from my colleagues yesterday that we have not been and would not be endorsing products of Israel origin for generations here at work. And we're proud to have the good collateral ties with the Middle Eastern countries.

A million innocents in exchange of 2 lives. The words "Poor Excuse" is an understatement. I support your cause, Cuz!

  8. you're not the only one who's been "suppressing" the frustration regarding the senseless military actions of Zionist Israel. we can talk all we want and a thousand conspiracy theories abound as to why the US are backing Israel's destruction of civilian buildings and lives, as to why the other Arab countries are not doing anything, as to why the UN is nothing more than a pathetic centerstage built on empty talk and cheap words.

on the other hand, taking a critical view, the "militants" should realise they can never get rid of Zionist Israel with rockets and blowing themselves up. whether they like it or not, Zionist Israel is there to stay, and the only sensible thing to do is to come to terms with it. even a fool can see how disproportionately unbalanced the military/economical might is between Palestine and Israel. It is not the whole Jewish population of Israel that should be wiped off, its the Zionist propaganda and ideology that is the root of the the problem.

interesting note: whenever there's a terrorist attack anywhere, the PAP government will swiftly condemn such acts. but look at how pathetically silent they are with israel destroying lebanon and palestine. oh, i forgot, they're really busy spending taxpayer's money on the national day parade.

  9. DONT DRINK COKE!! no more ok!
Oh regarding PAP condemning terrorism, well as we all know ISRAEL cannot be terrorist coz the US government has not labelled them yet! And we all know THEY are the ones "in-charge" of this labelling. My thoughts are, well it does not matter what my thoughts are anyways. but if i had my way, i would kindly ask N.Korea to test their missiles right there on that country that belongs to the palestinians, which are being occupied by those scums!

  10. Hmmm..I dont know how to put this in a condusive way. I did try to do the same thing....like boycott Fox or israel-based stuff or US-based stuff..but my dad told me not to get involved in it and bring in religion because it is never abt religion, it is purely politics..in other words, political manipulation of religion...then i started thinking..it is true...the israel ppl dont call the shots, they suffer too, no point hating all of them, we can hate some of them, the political ones. My dad told me, we cant stop the war, but we can help the wounded and affected, i shall campaign for that. Anyone wanna join forces with me? We can get gather clothes, toys, medical supplies etc to be shipped to war affected countries. With the bombings children lose toys, books and clothes..many lost their homes. Sophie, we can start at MDIS, approch lucy-boy or georgina for the campaign :)
How about selling Sophie's Teh-Peng-cino?? 50% of the kaching$$ goes to buying stuff for the war stricken countries :)

  11. Ermmm....I cannot boycott Coke cos my Dad works at F&N. Every Raya get free Coke!

    ReplyDelete
  12. definitely not easy but if each and every one of us makes a conscientious effort, bit by bit...it will show.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Wow ok...keep it that way!
Thanx for ur support, hope u join me too :)

    ReplyDelete
  14. How abt u? Do u get free V-Power every Raya?? Heh..

Anyway, politics are very sensitive issue. But Allah has plans for these people killing and dying... To be politically correct, god is cleaning the world. Tsunami, liberal war, earthquakes and even sudden deaths is happening all around us.

  15. Actually kind of true lah.. In fact too many brands. How are we supposed to boycott all the stuffs. Plus, we are already comfortable with some of the brands . Right now, the best thing we can do for them is to send them our doa for their safety and well - being to the Al-Mighty after each and every prayers. For us to give them $$$ also wasn't quite possible. We also have ourselves to think about and neither of us earn much anyway. Besides that, some of our own citizens needs our financial help too. Takkan nak jadi bak kata pepatah kera dihutan disusukan, anak dirumah mati kelaparan. But, that doesn't mean we don't need to try to help them at all.

  16. dear dee, thanx for the very rational input!

my rage is towards the Political giants, i did not even mention anything abt religion, have i?
and i seem to fail mentioning tis, so to make things clear...when i bad-mouth Israel or US, i Am referring to the Political leaders of these countries because they are the ones with the power. that remind me of the taxi fare-hike recently...i dun curse the taxi drivers.

and hey, i definitely wanna join forces with u! i am For the cause of helping the wounded and affected, i dun have much to offer financially, but i really don't mind gathering stuff or raising funds for war victims/poverty-stricken people. we can definitely do that after our exams? errr but Teh Peng-cino...i'd rather leave that to the "gung ho" aunty in our canteen...i juz drink ;b

  18. signs! signs! of too much sins, too much blood spills, too much corruptions and ........*shudder*

    ReplyDelete
  19. we can choose and pick halal products above other things in the market...why not be more conscientious abt tis too?
yep true, it's near impossible to boycott ALL of the stuff, but we can buy/contribute less if we can't find substitute.
anyways, boycotting is not the only way to show our displeasure for the opressions and bombings done by Israel, so if doa is what u feel is good for the victims please do so more, i urge the same from others too...cos Hezbollah insisted a ceasefire only with prisoner swop & Israel ain't takin back it's vow to carry on fightin the Hezbollah yet!

    ReplyDelete
  20. i can boycott almost every other brands but DISCOVERY CHANNEL and NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC? now that i wont agree to..... why boycott knowledge? it dont make sense when our religion encourages us to seek knowledge as much as possible.
as for the middle eastern war, it will never end. watch munich or read my review on munich to understand how each side feels for the other. furthermore without sounding myopic, I agree with hafi. we dont need to look far if you wish to be charitable. if our citizens dont seek it, im sure our regional neighbors would appreciate our help. Aceh, Timor Leste, Myanmar, Southern Thailand, Mindanao Island all have their own issues and we should offer humanitarian as well as peacekeeping aids to them instead. Im sure everyone agree that having a stable and safe region far outweigh the need to go into a never ending war in Gaza.

  21. I can't make do with other brands besides Kotex...

    ReplyDelete
  22. Yeah, u never mentioned, I was just sharing what my father was telling me at that time because, there was a discussion about it in a religious forum shown on RTM 1 some years back and we talked abt it and he shared with me his views, sorry if i wasnt clear in my comments...was typing it 5 mins before i knocked off..hahaha. I get what u mean, I am angry with these political leaders, I wonder, why we have politicians anyway?

Im trying to find time to organise another collection of donations but with the exams and next school semester staring so soon...its kinda tough

    ReplyDelete
  23. we (Singapore Govt & people) have been doin that...esp. for Aceh and Timor Leste but i have not heard of our side sending any peacekeers to either Israel or Lebanon for tis outbreak of conflict...Yet, perhaps. and i am pretty happy that our country has been doin its bit for the region. as for the locals, heyy i still see alot of charitable people around here donatin and the Govt doin their part to help our very own people (tho the process is really pain in the ass, accordin to someone close who managed to get help)! i ain't complainin abt that man even tho the living cost here is gettin higher and higher!

and i never did encourage to boycott knowledge...Knowledge is Power, i wrote that as a parting quote at the end of my entry. nonetheless i appreciate ur perspective and suggestions :)

  24. *LoL*
that was among the first thing that occured in my mind!!!

  25. Eh how bout CNN? To me its damn biased how they report stuff, this is after LOTS of comparison of reports and statements collected from parties effected.Oh i find BBC to be the better news reporter coz its the broadcaster i based my comparison to!
P.S: Yes suicide bombing are stooopid. If u wanna wipe out any one follow the Nazis! Genocide baybee~~ Ho0o00oo!

    ReplyDelete
  26. kotex from where huh? haha..nvr go and check lah

    ReplyDelete
  27. heh i don't tune in to CNN. only BBC and Channelnewsasia.

    ReplyDelete
  28. exactly thats the reason why they are vey wary about stopping the zionist movement. would you break down what you have created? as for the jews, yeah i know some nice ones too....there will always be nice and evil people...every religion have their extremists.....
to iyuan: the best news channel to watch is Al- Jazeera, you can get it on cable.......it is really non biased, and does not even promote Pan- Arabic propaganda, even addressing the cracks that appeared in the Arab World. It has a sophiscated understanding of the cultural and political conditions underpinning issues in the Middle East.

btw, nice to finally hear from u and sharin with us ur knowledge..yeah, i read a lil abt the land bein given to the Jews to make up for the Holocaust some time ago, only then i realised why the Palestinians are so pissed all tis while (to which i juz wish they move on and co-exist sometimes).

  31. If someone came to my land and suddenly takes it over without even paying rent and such and calling it god's gift to them, wel i will freaking shoot them down with my tomy-gun!! Ho0oo00ooo! But well...
