In less than a year...I've looked older, and I smile different.
How every bit of youth is becomin so precious,
As i live my life growin older day by day.
Izzit the daily exposure to the sun or lack of facial regime,
Or izzit the quiet madness I've put up for the past year that left me lookin like dat today?
Maybe the breakin down of my anatomy caused it,
Or maybe learnin and experiencin that life is not always sweet but BITTER sweet caused it.
Well, it doesn't matter how i look, wat matters most is wat i'm made of. Inner beauty radiates even more when u age, and I pray for that more than I desire to preserve an outward beauty.
Outward beauty is Like a flower;
when it's buddin n bloomin days are over,
It will juz wilt away...
And nobody bothers to look and admire it anymore...
Hmmm...wonderin why am i writin such thing? Well, Juz feelin a lil emo, when i compare my makeover photo for the Ad thingy in Cleo, taken in June 2004, and my recently shot makeover photo & things that I've seen/been thru for the past year. I didn't realise that one's looks & smile can change so fast...

Hehe.. See, don't worry.. Iyuan still loves you. Sometimes we girl tends to worry too much about look, but who doesn't especially nowadays when beautiful women can be found anywhere. I do feel threaten too, sometimes. But I forgot that it's the inner beauty that matters more.

Have u read the book "Five people u meet in heaven?" by Mitch Albom? Anyway, the story features the life of this guys Eddie and how much he loves his wife. In heaven he met his wife again and his wife looked the way she did when he married her. After spending much time with her, he asked her that he'd prefer her in her 40s before she died as he still loved her in fact more with all the wrinkles and extra flabs she'd added on. So sweet rite?
