Is tt acid humour, Aunty?

I really find Chinese Aunties amusin, from the way they shove their way up buses or block people's way with their brollies, to sometimes pepperin Hokkien vulgarities in their sentences...all those they do, with straight faces. Repulsive but amusing.

Today I had an amusingly memorable conversation with a Sales Rep Aunty at a warehouse sale event.

*the followin conversation was made in English, SIngapore style*

Me: Aunty, will the colour of this bedsheet fade?

Aunty: Aiyo girl, tis one is ELLE(emphasized tone) brand hor, people laugh teeth drop hor if fade!

Me: *looked blank for 3 seconds tryin to digest her analogy*

Aunty: heheh, just joking hor...it won't fade la.

Me: *recovered* ehh heheh ok, thank u Aunty, i take one set.

Aunty: Thank u ah girl -pat pat me-

U r brilliant in ur own right la, Aunty! Steady steady Pom pi pi!
*lmao*
