The Lure

hmm should i join the rest of the masses & sign up an account at FACEBOOK??

friends & colleagues have all been ravin abt it & i recently heard even my lecturer's on it & they have nice games there...hmmm...but i don't wanna get poked around nor do i wanna maintain so many social network sites & it kinda pains me to kill another social network account,my Friendster, that contains soo many of my real-live contacts from primary school peoples, to friends made on friendster as well as my dearest maternal cuzzins who don't own a facebook account. i killed off the first ever social network site i signed up, Everyone's Connected, as i build on my Multiply.

should i keep my resistance & hold on to the passe or juz go embrace the current hype (for a new friends recollection site) & slowly let go of the outdated (almost everyone seems to be jumpin ship!)?

hurhurhur

how many of u have a facebook account & have killed off/abandoned ur friendster & are simply enjoyin urself in facebook??

  2. I will always have my friendster account no matter wat! Because.... that's where everything started for me... LOL.
I stopped blogging at my blogspot site because I wanted to maintain and be more active in Multiply. But the account is still there...
Facebook account for me is for snooping around and when I dun feel like blogging but just wanna take some silly test or games! LOL!
But I never really erms... groomed or mantained it... my requests are growing each day like weeds! hahah... but seriously its a great way to meet up old friends who dun have a friendster or multiply account!

  11. whoa dont blog on Facebook, almost as bad as blogging on myspace. you really wont and dont want the whole world to know everything...unless thats what you want, you know crave for attention or something...

i mean i only blog here because it's safe. only friends and close ones read the entries and only certain people who are confortable will comment. I mean other readers can read but if they want to comment, they need to sign up and stuff.. But over there....free for all..not pretty at all.....

  14. i've certainly jumped ship & embraced facebook for it has helped to reconnect with such ol friends whom i think i've lost but haven't. emails sometimes change. hps certainly change. and its soooooo fantastic to be able to still find long lost kindergarten pals, sch pals, pals i met while on an exchange, pals i met while travelling to italy... its AWESOME.. like what the hamster in Bolt says. FULLY AWESOME. In fact, BE-YAWESOME!! ( Beyond Awesome ) I still love my multiply though.
