got invited to my first wedding dinner at a Country Club, hmm Laguna Country Club to be exact. so...kinda wonderin how much is the average amt of money to give the couple. hmm should be lower than hotel rite? my colleagues said hotels must be at least $60-80....none is sure how much is the "standard" for country club wedding function. Any help?
Well, I give $40 for hotel or country club... They also won't know who give, so you won't be branded a cheapskate. Hehe...
ReplyDeleteActually.. U need to write ur name down on the envelope. If its not written, then they'll deemed it as a good luck gift. If those are particular and calculative, and if they didnt find ur name in any envelope, they tend to take it an insult from u. This is for the conservative people. Thats wat I'm told by my chinese fren.
ReplyDeleteIf u must, just put in $50 minimum with an additional $8 for good luck. Best it'll be $88. In the end, its all up to u. Malays dun lose face as much as the chinese..
