No more What Ifs




The unimaginable has happened.
The "ridiculous" has occured.
The Wedding of Ayu & Adi.

Ayu dropped a bomb on all of us when she announced that she got engaged last month, December. She was single and available all the time, who the heck is she engaged to?! We had no idea who the fiance is, who tis Adi is. Even she herself dunno him, besides the fact that he attends the same religious class as she did. She then announced that she was gettin married to this someone in January! Shocked and appalled we were, upon hearin the news! Good God, what has overcome tis gurl? Gettin married to someone she noes zilch abt??? How could she? Is she out of her mind? So many what ifs occured in our minds....But she stood by her parents' will & put her trust in God to be married to tis fateful guy. And by faith, their holy matrimony took place on 15th Jan 05, much to our anxiety. For the first time we saw the mystery man, her man. He looks good, a good young man. Congratulations Ayu & Adi! U both make a handsome couple. May ur journey discovering and living life together, be Beautiful & Blissful :)

    ohh.. dat ayu. wow.. like they say, kalau dah jodoh tak kemana. kadang-kadang betul jugak cakap orang, sometimes kalau kita carik tak jumpa tapi kalau tak carik betul-betul datang depan mata. itulah nama dia rezeki, kita ni yang matair lama-lama pun belum tau lagi. hehe.. (u can translate this if u want to, hehe.. can't write these thoughts in english)

    hmmm well basically, what hafi is sayin, what's meant to be, will be. sometimes when we try so hard lookin for somethin(eg. jodoh= partner for marriage), we won't find it but when we aren't, it'll b there right in front of us. that's what hafi calls Luck (rezeki). even if ppl are in a long term relationship, they've yet to noe if they'll end up together eventually.

    ok tt's the best i can attempt, hafi. hehehe

    does my translation sounds corny? i looked up an online malay-englishdictionary for the word "rezeki" and its translated as luck/livelihood. but i think yeah, gifts from God is more accurate but weird rite, to fit in the sentence?
