They were each others' first love...it was so funny, we were all 13 then but here they are, 13 years later, gettin married, but not to each other, on the same week end. What major coincidence for Ima & John!

Blast from the past!

Ever since I assumed the position of "Unemployed Graduate" startin from last Wednesday, i've been spendin pretty much of my time runnin ard in the CBD and town area to get some of my late dad's financial stuff done and plottin a birthday lunch, surprise and cable car experience for Iyuan. All went well, thank God!

Anyway, I did a lil declutterin in one of the wardrobes today and i found a piece of graph paper that made me LoL. Check out what i wrote,abt 7 years ago, for one of the modules I took while in SP, one that kinda prepares the students to enter the career world.

 

 

 

I've got 3 more years to fulfill the 10 years outlook of mine since 2000. As for the possible jobs...man, i think i can cross out the 1st three on the list already! hahha!

Today Rafeeqah passed to me a belated birthday pressie that was flown in from US, which "transited" in Phillippines and finally found its way to Singapore and into my arms.

"Shutterfly" reads the box and I instantly knew...oooo PHOTOS!! Rafeeqah told me to open it when I got home, cos my mum was around when she passed it to me and so I did (and now I know why! hurhur). It was an A4 sized album with pics i thought but as i flipped it open, my my my....my tears start dwellin as tis was actually a Photo Book of me. It is not entirely all about me, but captured moments that I have spent with my loved ones. It's so beautifully done..the pictures, the carefully thought out captions...I can't help getting all emotional!

To the most giving and loving couple I have ever met, Hafiz & Rafeeqah, no words could describe how touched I am by ur thoughtfulness & gift.

The Bachelorettes of Science's Graduation

It's finally here & as much as a Science Geek or Blur Sotong that we are, we are celebratin it in style with much Joy & Gusto! Congrats my fellow TOUGH COOKIES, WE MADE IT!

07.07.07: Collected our gowns, followed by Lunch@Fig & Olive and Outdoor Photoshoot@Fort Canning with Lela and we burnt papers to make pseudo-scrolls to attach to our Famous Amos cookie goodies which we wanted to present to our fellow classmates on the actual graduation day. It was a bunch of FUN, and i bet my cute lil ass (heh) the rest of my gal pals are darn excited waitin for our photos to be ready!

10.07.07: The Graduation Day, i knocked off work late, Liza thought we won't be able to make it for the convocation but we managed to zip our way thru and all went well & smooth! YES we have Graduated and what's sweeter was i saw my ex-trainee teacher from Secondary School! She was conferred with a Master in Early CHildhood Education! It's strange but lovely to be graduating together on tis day! Ahh i must thank Ned for comin to the ceremony and snappin me away with her cam when mine went dead even before it began! Hurhur! And those whom i have harassed to take my pics too...Thank You!

Here comes the Bachelor(ettes) of Science! WoOOoOot~

Dee, Hafi, Linda, MissyLiz and I collected our academic dresses & mortar board/graduation hats today! And from late noon, we've been walkin n posin n walkin n posin. I continued with eatin n more posin in the evenin during a dinner outing with my extended family. foooh...photoshoot marathon today, i'm juz so full n tired...but kinda delighted!

Tuesday's juz 3 days away, it's gonna be one of the most memorable day in our lives...lookin back, it's been quite a journey and now...forward we shall move!
