Cafe Samar

Rating:★★★★
Category:Restaurants
Cuisine: Middle Eastern
Location:Baghdad Street, Singapore
for EXTREME cosiness n Middle Eastern/Moorish allure. But the food...erms, not as excellent as it's ambience, plus it's menu is a lil cut throat (read: bland n not value for money, u actually is payin for the ambience) . Best to visit when u juz need to chill out wif frenz over sheesha n snack on finger food wif Middle Eastern tunes in the background. Most beautiful at nite.

Alternative choices: Al Majlis (Cafe le Cairo) or Cafe Mazmazza for more variety of sheesha n food.

  2. Ok i went to the relocated Cafe Samar last week and it was Spacious compared to the old location at Baghdad Street. Service was pretty ok and I juz had Potato Wedges, Chicken Wings, some middle eastern dessert and sheesha.

Hmm miss the cosiness of the old spot tho but nevertheless...i'm still in love with the lights, now there's more of those gorgeous lights! Was told that the 2nd storey to tis Kandahar's street Cafe Samar will be opened in March and there'll be nights catered for LADIES. U noe what that spells? Belly Dancin! Yalla!

P.S. the photo in the article is taken at Samar, Kandahar Street, 2nd Feb 05
