Virgin Karaoke session

i can twirl, prance & simply shake my body but i do not like to sing, especially around people cos i suck! hah! but mesye gathered our friends to celebrate my (pre)birthday with a karaoke session & even tho he knew how reluctant i was to sing, he told me to pre-choose songs to sing a couple of days before tis session, otherwise the rest will choose for me. hmmmm i realllly don't like the sound of tis but hmmmm for the sake of being a good sport, fine..like how i faced cooking in Raf's kitchen..WHACK la!

it turned out to be quite a nite! everyone sang..including me, who was happily singin to some of my fav songs. Haha i hope i didn't make anyone cringe with my amateur singing but i think the karaoke system can't stand me, the whole place went into a black out when i sang Kau Ilhamku...*LMAO*

anyways, thank u to all my karaoke kaki for cheerin me on & celebratin my birthday under the disco ball! tis is definitely a nite to remember!

Flea-tique

the flea market reminds me of the ones in Glebe & Bondi...BUT tis one here is wayyyyy WETTER! i mean it was Scorchin Hot today and we were all perspirin & losin water so bad! Still, bargain hunters we are we managed to get away with quite a few purchases. Can't say that i had great bargains but i sure did get good buys! went home with 2 tops & 2 rings!

Elmo Party for Ria!

I came a tad late for the Magic Show & Balloon Sculptin cos i got a lil lost in Bukit Batok. The venue of tis party was charming & full of greeneries & there were SWINGS!! Everyone from young & old seems to be havin a blast with the food & catching up.

The lil princess, Adriana, who turned two on the 19th was really busy, running & laughing about among her family members & friends that I only had One mere pic of her.

Such a lovely party! Thank u Ria's Mummy & Daddy for invitin me! Ahh and it's nice catchin up with the Wiwis & a senior from Sec Sch, who happens to be a Multiply user too! How Kewl!

These are the liars (me innocent victim):

Liars! Liars! You tricked me through it all today...DAMMIT! It's been quite awhile since we met and catch up so Weiwei suggested we outta meet today & check out Wild Wild Wet since it'll be quite difficult to arrange at another time as she will be really busy all the way till August. Little was discussed abt the timing & venue to meet so i sms each of them to ask if they could meet me somewhere along the way & head down to Wild Wild Wet together. First it was Linda who replied that she would be meeting a friend & that she would meet us straight at the water theme park. Then, Dee said she was meeting her friend Nadya for brekkie & that she will be early...she also said that Weiwei will be slightly late as she would be sending her doggie for grooming and then sometime later June's sms read that she had a meeting in the morning & will meet us straight at Wild Wild Wet. Hmmm ok...And hours later after few rounds of Fun Rides (oh and free entry thanx to Weiwei's connections), Dee disappeared & Weiwei told me she has gone to the loo...hmmm...while I was baskin in the pool with Weiwei, June & Linda i saw Dee from the corners of my eyes...she was carrying somethin!!! I knew it! Weiwei's shifty eyes were anticipating Dee while we were baskin about...hah! What a surprise!!  I sabo-ed Dee's plan of surprisin me by runnin to her while she was strugglin to light the candle on mini birthday cakes (choclit mousse! ooh!) & singin myself a birthday song! Nyahahhahaha!

And the truth finally came to light....they set everythin up from the start! They were with each other when I texted them & the free entry was not due to Weiwei's contacts! Chet! They were there 1st & they pre-paid my entry fee!!! AIYOOOOHHHHHH!!!! I had SO MUCH FUN today & what a SWEEEEEET surprise! Thanx eh for the Partial truths...hahahha! And THANK U too for a YUMMY YUMMY Korean feast at Fresh Bulgogi...SHIOKNESS!! And yes....for the early birthday pressie too! Snippets of the day can be found here(thanx to Dee).

Emmm where did it appear from btw?? Is it when Weiwei disappear to top up her Cashcard?? My GOSH, u ladies are SMOOTH & gettin BETTER & BETTER at these ah!! NAUGHTYYYYY.....But I LIKE!!! Hee & i've tried out my pressie....ME LOVE!!! Wooots!!

Pure Indulgence Seekers!

well, tis album is a lousy documentation of the day since there are no pics of us in action but it's one album full of GLOWING ladies! we were savourin every moment of our Heavenly Bliss right in....Batam(of all places in the world ey?!)

hah! well it's the first time ever that i have stepped into our neighbouring Indonesian island, known to be the spot for emm..Men's paradise? since i was told by a source that 99.9% of the ladies there are taken by Singapore men. Oh never mind that, we ain't there to check out any seedy affairs but for our very own SELF Pampering (sorry Bat(am)Men, ur women might be taken by Singapore men but u r not part of our agenda!)

Am truly truly satisfied with the massages & hair services of Christopher Salon at tis mall called Nagoya Hills. I spent only SG$24 on traditional body massage for a good 90 min session, a hair spa & treatment(more like head massage)! Woooot..where oh where in Singapore can we get such a holistic therapy for that kinda price ey?? even with my 2-way ferry fare of SG$41 + $7 tax, the EXCELLENT services there are wayy cheaper plus i got to get out of Singapore (juz for a day! heh)! i came & went back with a big smile plastered on my face!

Anyways, from yesterday's experience, we learnt that we have to BOOK ferry tickets in advance & go there either bloody early in the morning for a daytrip or we'll need an overnight stay in order to make time for SHOPPING!!

My life's ABUZZ!

perhaps that's pretty much why i haven't been postin a written entry of late. Lil lil happenings around me have such profound effects that perhaps only I realise, and only to Him i could bow & give my praise & many thanks.

lil lil things are conjurin and these make me reflect on life a year ago. 2 days ago last year, i submitted my resignation letter to ORI, with the heaviest feeling in my heart. A year ago, life was so trying that all that i could do was to hide in my own shell, away from the buzz of the world...but here i am today, feelin the warmth of His light shinin gloriously upon me...and i know my prayers were not left unheard. I missed reachin out to my loved ones, i gave up things i loved and i was lost, truly lost & dazed that my only salvation to make it through each passing day was my Lord, in prayers & tears. till that Garden Party on my 26th birthday, i could not find a reason to smile AND shine.

but here i am now, relishin & makin every moment worth...it's beautiful how the All Loving arrange our lives to be. i believe it's never a "divine conspiracy", as how Sitz puts it (i like that term,cuzzin) but they are His lil tests to make me grow...they got me all confused & helpless yet at the same time, they take me to somewhere new to explore...excitin! Masya Allah Masya Allah!

While i shine on now, i shall always remember the gloomy days...it's not that God has turned His back on me then, He was guidin me to a better time ahead! And here i am...SHININ ON!

Thank u Lord for Your Grace & Thank u my Loved Ones, for helpin me to keep my chin up in the dark times & bringin back the sun! i am truly truly humbled...
