Wake Up it's a Beautiful Mornin :)

Ahhh had a lovely sleep...no nightmares!

I woke up wif 3 things on my mind today smiley("idea"); :
i. I wanna eat Kebab (dunno if the one at Scotts SC Basement exists)
ii. I wanna play Go-Kart (heard there's a course in Batam/Bintan?)
iii. I wanna Dance! (perfect to start the Mornin!)

Have a lovely week ahead everyone!! Let's Rock n Roll!

Where was my week end?

I lost it again...

Heh not quite actually. Juz spent it goin thru Intensive Lectures in school. Haa...missed the Muzika Extravaganza juz by a tiny while on Saturday. Damn, Jules i missed ur performance, i hope u did Great! I wish Suria would repeat its telecast!

Had lecture from 2-10pm with a lil 2-hour break in between. Organic Chemistry was pretty okay but Biochemistry drove me nuts cos the lecturer was so monotonous and not havin notes on wat he was teachin was not helpin either. I switched off most times while he blabbed abt proteins. God...it was so borin & dry! Dealin that with a tummy cramp was juz soo Urghhh!! Had an early nite and had a nightmare! I dreamt that I stabbed someone who got me so pissed with a pen(?!) but she survived and I was chased by police. Wat an outrageous dream!!

Woke up at 9am today and made my way to school for 10am lecture. Torture...i haven't woken up so early for these past few weeks! Bummer's life...what do u expect. Late nites, late mornings...Missed my buses and end up gettin to class at 10.20am and God....monotonous lecture again....and my persistent tummy cramp juz made things worse. Luckily i was in Hafi's good company. Had a break slightly before 1pm and we took a lil walk at PS. Got ourselves bikinis! Hahaha retail therapy for a sucky weekend. Somehow when we got back to class at 2, my tummy cramp went *PooF* Yeay! The Biochem lecturer discussed abit abt exam questions and let us off one and half hour early. Hmmm more window shoppin for me n Hafi before I met bf for dinner at Cuppage Plaza.

Bf got himself another New PSP game. Lumise? Somethin like Tetris/Brickgame...hmmmm i still prefer Wipeout! Hahaha hmmm maybe cos my brain was too dead for any games that needs strategy or some thinkin. My score was Pathetic!

Back to school for my last lecture at 7pm and had to solve some Organic Chemistry problems. Crap...i can't think! I got the sinkin feelin when I was facin my exam paper last year when given a startin molecule and end product and i gotta figure wat happened in between. Arghhh!!! It's sickenin! I was juz there waitin for the lecturer to provide me with the answers...That is NOT good! Must start usin my brain to figure those stuff out. Revise, practise, revise, practise!! I must I must I must!!! I dun wanna fail AGAIN!

I'm countin down to my last day of Intensive Lectures that end on Wednesday nite. Oh man...i juz feel so suffocated with the overwhelming knowledge and humid weather! And wat's in for me tomorrow..eh later? I'll be meetin a bunch of primary 2 kids who have very very short span of attention in the day and Molecular Bio lecture at nite! Am i gonna survive?! Hell YEAH!!

I aM GoNNa SEiZE the DaY!!! Riitee.........

Jewelry Do's & Dont's

What Every Woman Should Know

It's an all too familiar story. Woman gets dressed in fabulous outfit. Woman wears hottest new shoes and handbag with outfit. Woman ruins everything by wearing wrong jewelry with outfit. As if rules for skirt lengths, shoe height and lipstick color weren't enough, women also have to worry about the do's and don'ts of wearing jewelry. Relax ‑- these rules aren't that tough to follow, and we'll also tell you which ones you can now completely ignore!

Go Bold and Beautiful
Wearing bold jewelry takes confidence and fashion know-how. It says to the world, "I'm no shrinking violet, and I'm okay with standing out in a crowd." What it shouldn't scream is, "I am over-accessorizing with the wrong outfit!"

  • less is more.

If you are wearing a chunky bangle and necklace, forget the bling-bling ring and big earrings, or you'll look like you're playing dress-up in Mommy's closet.

  • don't wear prints ‑- they just don't get along.

Sleek all-black and all-white, however, are perfect with big or colorful jewelry. Have fun with the coral and turquoise trends of the season.

  •  the larger a stone, the less real it looks.

Large retro-cool cocktail rings are very in right now, but resist the "gem-tation" to pair yours with other jewel-encrusted pieces. Let the ring be the focal point of your look.

Mix Metals

We were once told not to mix metals, and this is one of the old-school rules that designers now ignore. Wearing gold with gold and silver with silver creates a more traditional look, but isn't true fashion all about looking modern?

  • if you want to mix metals, keep the style of the jewelry the same

A modern gold cuff won't look right paired back to dainty, antique platinum and diamond earrings. The "stacking trend" lends itself perfectly to the mixing of metals.

  • stack square or round rings or bangles in different shades of gold. You can even layer gold and silver necklaces for a fashion-forward look.

Wear the Right Necklace Lengths
Have you even seen someone who is dressed to the nines, yet something seems somehow off? Wearing the wrong length necklace with a particular neckline is probably the most common mistake women make when it comes to wearing jewelry. Here are some simple guidelines for getting it right.

  • Collar necklaces should lie snugly around the middle of the neck, and can be worn with V-neck, boat-neck and off-the-shoulder tops.
  • Chokers fall perfectly at the base of the neck, and look great with strapless or plunging necklines.
  • Princess length necklaces (17 to 19 inches) fall just below the throat. This is the most common and versatile length of necklace. It can be worn with most necklines except the high ones. Add a pendant and wear with a V-neck for a pretty look.
  • Matinee length necklaces (20 to 24 inches) hit the top of the bust, and it's best not to wear this length with plunging necklines. If the necklace hits the very top of your neckline, it will be fighting for attention with your top.
  • Opera length necklaces (28 to 34 inches) fall below the bust and look great with a very high neckline. They can be worn from day to evening. This length can also be doubled for a multi-strand look.

Consider Your Age and Body Type
Just as a piece of jewelry can accentuate the positive, it can also draw attention to your not-so-positive areas.

  • Chokers are made for women with more youthful skin. Women with aging necks will want longer chains and necklaces to draw attention away from any neck imperfections.
  • If you have a wide neck, you can balance that by wearing graduated necklaces, which are very thin around the side of the neck and larger below the collarbone.
  • If you have a long, thin neck that you don't want to accentuate, try a triple-strand necklace, with the shortest strand hugging the base of the throat. Avoid V-shaped chains

Hello?? U r a Woman now!

Gee sometimes i really i have to say it out loud to myself! Especially juz now. Can u imagine, a 23 year old woman climbing a pussy willow tree? What the hell?

It all happened when I was sendin off my friend Sue to her bus stop when we saw some cats. Everytime Sue come over to my house for her BD lessons, she will stroke stray cats and today 3 of em stopped her in her track. Mine too. 2 of em were on the tree and one was lookin at those 2 kitties on the tree. I dunno what went on in her head, she went to the tree and said the kitties were tremblin. They sure did look terrified especially after a stupid man threw down a bag of water at the kitties on the tree. Sue stood at the base of the tree, tryin to get them to come down. She even shook a branch or two in hope they got scared and they'll jump off the tree. But i guess, it was too high for them. After 5-10 minutes of seein her, tryin helplessly to coax those kitties down, I knew it will not happen. Guess wat happens nxt? Yours truly climbed the bloody tree and offered her hand but the kitties got frightened and moved higher! Arghh!!! But somehow, i managed to stroke and coax one for like 5 min and i grabbed it and down it went. The 2nd kittie, was still tremblin when i wanted to reach to it. And wat did Sue do? She was takin my photos on her handphone!!

Then a man came by and was curious to see why the heck was i on a tree and bf called and asked where was i?? I told him i was On a tree! He sounded like he couldn't believe wat i said! I mean who would rite?? It's so crazy! But thank God he didn't blow his top and i told him i'll be meetin him in abt 5 min. I wanted to come down when Sue and the stranger gave the branch another tug and somehow the last kittie grew a lil more brave and moved towards me. so i reach out to it, grab it and it scratched me before scamperin off when it got down on the ground. The next thing i noe was i have to be on my way to meet my bf, time was tickin. My leg was kinda like cramped abit but it was okay. Off we went to Tampines to get him a new PSP game. Had a chance to play it too on our way back home, I'm beginnin to like it, that Wipeout game...tho i sucked at it. Hahaa!

Now that I have time to sit down and reflect on what happened today, somethin popped up in my head. Hmm...hours before kittie incident, I went to RVPS to assist in Creative Movement lesson. Took a cab to that school cos the bus i was waitin for was scheduled to come at a timing that was not feasible for me. Then when i was in the cab, the driver asked if i was actually headin to the school to fetch my children?!! Now from his question, it seems to me like I look like a Woman to him not a girl! Hmmm i've always loved climbin ard since i was a baby, my family has a whole lotta story abt me n my climbing...but God, i'm 23 now and i look like a woman, legally i AM one! Shouldn't this climbin affinity then juz fade away, shouldn't i be more demure and feminine...where's my motherly instinct?? Hello, where is the woman in me?? i'm so disconnected with feminity!! Yes i dress like one, talk like one but i dun behave like one definitely not juz now. Urghhh u think i got identity crisis or need some help in developin my maturity?? Argghhh!! I need to behave like a proper lady!!

Feel so lame rite now but hmmm...this is wat a journal's for rite? To express one self... so dun judge me, Guide me.... I need to find that Woman in Me!!! M.A.D.N.E.S.S.

Rating:★★★★
Category:Movies
Genre: Romantic Comedy
I had a real good laugh watchin tis show. It's abt a white guy (Ashton Kutcher) who tries to win the heart of his black gf's father (Bernie Mac). Expect racist jokes, male egos flyin and Kutcher as the perfect klutz! Totally enjoyable n heartwarming!
