Detour from my walk home, a lil exploration down by Jln Hang Jebat with Nitzz.

[UPDATE] hee didn't expect that our next walk was the day after! June & Crena just can't wait to explore Jln Hang Jebat too and hey, since Nitzz was armed with her digicam, what else?!! more snappy snap time...and tis time we were upclose with the train! Whooooosh it went past us....Chooo Choooo~~

A day out at the Singapore Botanical Gardens & Pandan Reservoir for photoshoots. While Iyuan terrorised plants, benches, animals and a boat with his newly acquired 400D complete with his tripod stand and arsenals of lenses & filter, I'm juz shooting about with my humble Lumix digicam.

From Blah to Bargain Haunt- ANCHORPOINT Shoppin Ctr

Ooo goin to Anchorpoint now is such a delightful experience! Tis shoppin centre was so dead that the only reason I used to (hardly) go there is to eat at either KFC or Secret Recipe. But now, the newly revamped Anchorpoint a great shoppin place for a bargain queen like me, who prefer to sniff out value for money clothes and what nots. Overstocks of past seasons clothes from G2000, CLubmarc are sold here at way cheaper prices (i bought pants at $23 and $25 only at each respective shop!!) and there's also FOS!

Foodwise, gone is the Food Junction but now there's Banquet Signature. Small compact lil stall with old school Chinese-inspired tables and stools that resembled those in Wisma Atria's Food Junction, sellin food from the 3 ethnic races in Singapore. I tried the Wanton Mee there....yum yum! Another Chinese-inspired stall is Kopi Alley, i think i will try the Roti & Kopi there next! There's also a bunch of cafes there and there's also branch of TCC which has yet to open.

Ahh so happy lah! At last, there's somethin awesome in my "backyard"! haha! to anyone of my contact or those are stayin ard my area, if u want a shoppin kaki or wanna relax and have coffee at Anchorpoint, do tag me!

Raf's & Fyz's Wedding Bliss!

The Long Awaited & Much Anticipated Wedding between two very wonderful individuals finally took place over the week end! Alhamdulillah!

All went well despite the rainy weather...It was a blissful & lovely wedding...From the solemnisation to the sanding...Beautiful beautiful! For most of us, this is the first time we see the bride in make-up and she was exceptionally beautiful...our handsome groom simply couldn't take his eyes off her today! Hahah!

It was a real pleasure for me & mesye to play our part as "behind the scene" people for this joyous union & we wish u both a wonderful journey ahead together as Husband & Wife!

"Apa Khabar?"

"Supi, apa khabar?"

*apa khabar = how are u? in malay*

I sat up as I heard Abah's voice...am i hearing things?? Then i heard a lil kid's voice, responding...EHH? I peered into my mum's room..She was checking out old cassette tapes...

It was me..with Abah..and her...i nearly nearly teared as I hear more of our conversations. The joy of new parents, watching their young daughter grow and be all talkative. It was hilarious..but it was so sentimental...tis is the 1st time hearing recordings from my parents' collection. Like any other parents they made small talks with me, made me sing...even recorded me learning A for Apple & Aeroflane (haha) moments from Abah. I was the apple of their eyes n my grandparents :)

While at that, my mum told me to cook for her today. I know I will no longer say no, though yes, i will always say "wait/later". Minutes later, sambal kang kong & mish mash of black pepper sambal chicken's ready for her. She nagged because I am always like a newbie not knowing where she put stuff in her kitchen & such a clutz at cookin...sayin "see ur friends are all gettin married already!" Now the pressure's on me! Tsk~

She showed me her surgery scar when I requested to see it as I was stirring the vege...To me, it was big. I feel like cryin again...Right now, I can only pray hard that she would be all well despite the changes of cell morphologyin her breast cells and that the biopsy results which will be out on Tuesday to be clear of cancer & anythin harmful to her health.

I miss him & I love her so much...I've lost one and I could only do my part and be there for the other as best as I can, while still struggle in strivin forward in my own path in life. Hopefully all these jugglings, will turn out well despite the ups & downs, as I face the different stages of life...

And talkin abt stages of life...Today Mr Fyz & Rafeeqah will take a leap forward in their lives...today is their weddin day!! I am really sooo happy & excited for them! The last check on the groom last nite, he is all grinny with trimmed hair and their house is very much ready. We've collected their wedding car and mesye's the official escort for the next two days of solemnisation & ceremony. Now, i pray that all goes smoothly and beautifully for their much anticipated and long awaited wedding~

Tick tock tick tock...soon it'll be 3 o'clock! Wheeee~~
