Buck Up



  • Must work hard at readin my texts as well as practise problem solving. Cannot wait till last minute to assimilate and work things out. Die die must pass...can't rely on results of Mid Sem tests (test 1-fail, test 2-?? seems like it's a fail also)

 



  • Get today's Practical report done ASAP!

 



  • Practise BD. Wonder when can i move on to be an effective dancer, whose standard is somethin like those dancers in America & Australia. They are really somethin. Meetin Jess today and hearin that she started learnin Double Veil techniques, made me jealous. Wish i could pick up the skills too. Also inspired by Rania's sword play...heh, motivated me to try balancin a sword on my head while shimmyin and doin figure of 8s today while at Samra's shop, juz realised that the sword is pretty heavy and one costs like $200!

 



  • Registered for Hip Hop class (yes all fund transfers were successful. thank u gurls)

 



  •  oh! oh! MacDonald's Milkshakes are BacKK!! Choclit, Strawberry& Vanilla. $2! Slurps!

    eh...how come you guys do so much chemistry ah? i mean i am doing the same stuff as you guys (give or take) but i only did one semester of chemistry....(not complaining as i think organic chem is a pain also)

    i asked the same freakin question!! i dun understand why a Biotechnologist would have to know so much of chemistry shit! In the workin environment, the calculations we have to deal with is at most, dilutions and how much to aliquot stuff. Now i'm doin a module thats more like Physical chemistry..and it's juz as horrible as Organic Chemistry cos i'm lousy at conversions and calculations. we should be dealin with more molecular stuff rather than chemistry rite?!

    Heard that Chemistry is my Uni's "strength" so guess that's why such heavy incorporation of chemistry into our curriculums. Anyway, i'm in 2nd year already...so juz slog thru lah. Maybe one day, these Chemistry knowledge of mine would be of some use in combination with my bio background, makes me a flexible protein researcher ke, vaccine engineer ke...keh keh...(dreamin big ni to inspire myself to study harder) ha ha ha!

    Yup its particularly useful and u can put THAT FACT into ur resume. U also can work with Iyuan, albeit of coz with ur degree, u can be his SUPERVISOR!! He'll be calling u, "Yes ma'am or yes boss!" at werkplace. Hahaha..

    Work with PSA, be a Port Chemist, and get 12 mths bonus!! HAHAHAHA
